The “Hills & Backwaters” tour package offers a 5-night, 6-day journey through the diverse landscapes of Kerala. The itinerary includes exploring the scenic hill stations like Munnar, with its verdant tea plantations, and the tranquil backwaters of Alleppey, where you can enjoy a serene houseboat cruise. This package combines the beauty of Kerala’s hills and waterways, providing a balanced experience of nature, relaxation, and local culture.

Houseboat

Cruise timing during overnight stay will be from 12:00 hrs to 17:30 hrs with 1 hr lunch break. Next day trip from 08:00 hrs to 09:00 hrs.

Welcome drink, Lunch, evening coffee/tea and snacks, Dinner and Next day breakfast  & Mineral water included.

The menu is fixed and in case of any additional food will be charged extra.

AC working time: For Deluxe 21:00 hrs to 07:00 hrs. For Premium & Luxury: 24 hrs AC
Keeping with the heightened security procedures at all hotels we request all guests to carry a photo-identity with address proof to present at check-in. foreign nationals are required to present their Passport and valid visa. Indian nationals can present any one of the following: Passport, Driving License, Voter ID card, Aadhaar Card or Bank Pass Book with Photograph. Pan cards are not allowed.

Early check-ins or late check-outs will be subject to availability and charged as per hotel policy.

The rates are valid for the dates of travel and hotels as indicated.

In case of any change in the dates of travel, amendment or rerouting of itinerary, change in hotels/room types, the costs will vary accordingly.

In the event of circumstances/situations such as road blockage due to strike/agitation, natural calamities, sickness evacuation, delay/cancellation of train/flight etc. Also, due to monsoon rains and extreme weather patterns journey time can vary enormously at all times of year, which is beyond our control

Arrival in Cochin (Night) Upon your arrival in Cochin, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your city hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. Cochin, also known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea," is a vibrant coastal city with a rich history of trade, culture, and heritage. Relax and unwind after your journey as you prepare for an exciting tour of Kerala’s most scenic destinations.
Drive to Munnar (Waterfalls En Route) After a delightful breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Munnar, a charming hill station famous for its tea gardens, misty hills, and cool climate. En route, enjoy the stunning views of the Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls, cascading down the rocky cliffs and surrounded by lush greenery. The drive offers breathtaking vistas and photo opportunities as you wind through the serene landscapes. Upon arrival in Munnar, check into your hotel and spend the evening at leisure, soaking in the fresh mountain air. Munnar’s natural beauty and peaceful ambiance make it the perfect place for relaxation. Overnight stay at your Munnar hotel.
Munnar Sightseeing Today, explore the enchanting sights of Munnar. Start with a visit to the famous tea plantations and the Tea Museum to learn about the history and production of tea in the region. You’ll also visit scenic spots such as Echo Point, where the natural echo phenomenon can be experienced, and Mattupetty Dam, offering a serene boat ride. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Spend the evening strolling through Munnar’s town or visiting the local markets for souvenirs. Drive to Thekkady After breakfast, embark on a picturesque drive to Thekkady, known for its wildlife and spice plantations. The journey takes you through beautiful hills and plantations, offering incredible views of the Western Ghats. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and spend the day exploring Thekkady’s famous attractions. Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake, observing wildlife such as elephants, deer, and a variety of birds in their natural habitat. You can also visit a spice plantation to learn about the region’s spices, such as cardamom, pepper, and cinnamon. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Drive to Alleppey and Houseboat Stay In the morning, depart for Alleppey, famously known for its serene backwaters and houseboat experiences. Upon arrival, embark on a traditional Kerala houseboat and begin your overnight cruise through the scenic backwaters. Drift along the tranquil canals, observing the charming villages, lush paddy fields, and coconut groves lining the waterways. A delicious Kerala-style lunch and dinner will be served on board as you relax in the soothing ambiance of the backwaters. Overnight stay on the houseboat, where you can enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature.
Return to Cochin, Chottanikkara Temple, and Departure Disembark from the houseboat in the morning and drive back to Cochin. En route, visit the famous Chottanikkara Temple, a revered Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Bhagavathy. After the darshan (prayers), continue your journey to Cochin for a guided city tour. Visit the iconic landmarks of Cochin such as the Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattancherry Palace, and Fort Kochi. Spend some time shopping for souvenirs like spices, handicrafts, and textiles. In the evening, freshen up before being transferred to Cochin International Airport for your departure, marking the end of your memorable Kerala tour.
