The “Best of Kerala” tour package is a comprehensive 7-night, 8-day exploration of Kerala’s most iconic destinations. The itinerary covers the lush hill stations of Munnar and Wayanad, the wildlife-rich Periyar National Park, the tranquil backwaters of Alleppey, and the pristine beaches of Kovalam. This package offers a diverse blend of nature, culture, and relaxation, providing an in-depth experience of Kerala’s unique landscapes and traditions.

Houseboat

Cruise timing during overnight stay will be from 12:00 hrs to 17:30 hrs with 1 hr lunch break. Next day trip from 08:00 hrs to 09:00 hrs.

Welcome drink, Lunch, evening coffee/tea and snacks, Dinner and Next day breakfast  & Mineral water included.

The menu is fixed and in case of any additional food will be charged extra.

AC working time: For Deluxe 21:00 hrs to 07:00 hrs. For Premium & Luxury: 24 hrs AC
Keeping with the heightened security procedures at all hotels we request all guests to carry a photo-identity with address proof to present at check-in. foreign nationals are required to present their Passport and valid visa. Indian nationals can present any one of the following: Passport, Driving License, Voter ID card, Aadhaar Card or Bank Pass Book with Photograph. Pan cards are not allowed.

Early check-ins or late check-outs will be subject to availability and charged as per hotel policy.

The rates are valid for the dates of travel and hotels as indicated.

In case of any change in the dates of travel, amendment or rerouting of itinerary, change in hotels/room types, the costs will vary accordingly.

In the event of circumstances/situations such as road blockage due to strike/agitation, natural calamities, sickness evacuation, delay/cancellation of train/flight etc. Also, due to monsoon rains and extreme weather patterns journey time can vary enormously at all times of year, which is beyond our control

Arrival in Cochin (Night) Arrive at Cochin International Airport by night, where you will be greeted and transferred to your city hotel. Cochin, also known as Kochi, is Kerala’s vibrant port city that beautifully blends ancient heritage with modern charm. The city is an eclectic mix of cultures, influenced by centuries of trade. Relax at your hotel and enjoy your overnight stay in Cochin.
Chottanikkara Temple Darshan & Cochin Sightseeing After breakfast, head to the revered Chottanikkara Temple, dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathy, known for its spiritual and healing powers. Following your temple visit, explore the historic sites of Cochin, including the famous Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), and the centuries-old Paradesi Synagogue in the heart of Jew Town. Take a leisurely walk around Fort Kochi, visiting the St. Francis Church, and admire the colonial architecture. Later in the day, enjoy shopping for spices, souvenirs, and Kerala’s signature handicrafts. Overnight stay at your hotel in Cochin.
Drive to Munnar via Waterfalls Begin your journey to the serene hill station of Munnar, which is known for its endless tea gardens, mist-covered hills, and cool climate. En route, stop at the beautiful Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls, which offer stunning views and great photo opportunities. Munnar’s scenic landscapes and refreshing air make it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Check in at your Munnar hotel and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Munnar Sightseeing After breakfast, embark on a guided sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit the lush tea plantations and learn about tea processing at the Tata Tea Museum. Then, explore Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and stunning vistas of rolling hills. Don’t miss the picturesque Mattupetty Dam and Echo Point, where you can enjoy boating or hear your voice echo across the hills. The day ends with a relaxing evening at your hotel. Drive to Thekkady After checking out of your hotel, drive to Thekkady, a wildlife haven nestled in the Western Ghats. Thekkady is famous for the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can opt for a boat ride on Periyar Lake, offering the chance to spot wildlife such as elephants, deer, and various bird species. You can also explore spice plantations, as Thekkady is known for its production of spices like cardamom and pepper. Enjoy a relaxed evening at your hotel. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
Drive to Alleppey – Houseboat Experience In the morning, drive to Alleppey, often referred to as the "Venice of the East" due to its intricate network of backwaters. Upon arrival, embark on a traditional Kerala houseboat for an unforgettable cruise along the backwaters. Drift through narrow canals, lush paddy fields, and coconut groves while enjoying a delicious Kerala lunch onboard. Relax and soak in the serene ambiance as you spend the night on the houseboat. Drive to Trivandrum & Padmanabhaswami Temple Visit After disembarking from the houseboat in the morning, head to Trivandrum, Kerala’s capital city. Upon arrival, visit the famous Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, one of the richest temples in the world and a major pilgrimage site. The temple is renowned for its intricate Dravidian architecture and spiritual significance. Explore the city’s other attractions, such as the Napier Museum and the lushly landscaped gardens of Kanakakunnu Palace. Overnight stay at your hotel in Trivandrum.
Trivandrum Sightseeing, Shopping & Departure Spend the morning visiting any remaining landmarks in Trivandrum, such as the Kuthiramalika Palace or Shankumugham Beach. Later, indulge in some last-minute shopping, where you can purchase Kerala's famous spices, textiles, and handicrafts. After freshening up, you'll be transferred to Trivandrum Airport in the evening for your departure, marking the end of your wonderful Kerala journey.
