ARRIVAL AT KOLKATA
Welcome on arrival at Kolkata and transfer to the Hotel. Kolkata is a city of Joy, contrast and culture. Once the
capital of British India - now the capital of West Bengal. A visit to Kolkata will bring visitors in touch with a
combination of a rich 400-year-old heritage, vibrant modern life, and different cultures.
KOLKATA EXPERIENCE
After a late breakfast at the hotel start for a captivating heritage tour of Kolkata, commencing at the enchanting
Princep Ghat and continuing through an array of iconic landmarks that showcase the city's British Colonial
Heritage, including Bidhan Sabha, Kolkata High Court, Treasury Building, St. John's Church, and the heritage
buildings of BBD Bagh, featuring GPO, Writers' Building, Currency Building, and the Dead Letter Post Office.
Savor a cup of steaming coffee at the renowned Indian Coffee House, peruse the literary treasures at College
Street Book Market, and experience the grandeur of St. Paul's Cathedral and the historic Victoria Memorial.

KOLKATA - JORHAT - KAZIRANGA
Morning after breakfast departure transfer to NSCBI Airport to board your flight to Jorhat.
Welcome on arrival at Jorhat airport and transfer to Kaziranga (85Kms / 3hrs) Kaziranga – which - was declared a
National Park in 1974 and UNESCO declared Kaziranga a World Heritage Site in 1985. The park hosts two thirds
of the world's population of Rhinos. Rest for the day. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
KAZIRANGA JUNGLE SAFARI
Enjoy 01 round morning Jeep Safari inside the National Park, apart from the Rhino, other species found are hog
deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants and if one is lucky even the tiger. It is virtually a paradise for bird watchers, with a variety of migratory and resident birds. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Later after Breakfast, Visit to Kaziranga National Orchid & Biodiversity Park – a must visiting Tourist Destination as it is a noble initiative by the villagers of Durgapur, Kaziranga, to gain its popularity.
Afternoon enjoy Jeep safari in the Central Range. Kaziranga is a vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland,
and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests, crisscrossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and the
park includes numerous small bodies of water. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
KAZIRANGA – SHILLONG
Morning after breakfast transfer to Shillong (300kms /07 hrs). En-route visit Umium Lake – which has been created by damming the Umium River in the early 1960s. The principal catchment area of the lake and dam is spread over 220 square km. Shillong - the capital of British-created Assam until 1972 – and is now the capital and hill station of Meghalaya, also known as "The Abode of Clouds", one of the smallest states in India. Overnight in Shillong
SHILLONG - MWALLYNONG - SHILLONG
After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia (100 kms / 3 hrs drive approx), also known as
‘God’s own Garden’. With over 80 households, the village gives the ambience of walking in a well-maintained
park! Climb the 80 ft Sky Walk at Mawlynnong village for a bird’s eye view of the Village, the plantations and
faraway plains of Bangladesh. You will also be acquainted to the Khasi lifestyle, their culture and economy.
A trek to the nearby Rewai Village is another interesting activity. Walk down a flight of almost 100 steps to witness
nature’s wonder, living-root bridge. The bridges are tangles of massive thick roots, which the local people intertwine to form a bridge that can hold several people at a time. Drive Further 30 Kms from Mawlynnong to reach
Dawki. Dawki, name is famous because of international trade border town to Bangladesh. Before reaching the
bordering town, you will come across with this blue-water river which is known as Umngot River. Dawki village is
known for limestone business and other international trade with Bangladesh and weekly market allows people
from both sides to tread their stuffs. Later proceed to Shillong for overnight stay
EXCURSION TRIP TO CHERRAPUNJEE
Morning enjoy breakfast and then set out on an excursion trip to Cherrapunjee (60 Kms / 2hrs one way) – credited
to being the wettest place on Earth. It is the traditional capital of the Nongkhlaw hima (Khasi tribal chieftainship)
known as Sohra or Churra. Visit Dwan Syiem viewpoint, Noh Kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, Eco
Park etc. Later drive back to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.
SHILLONG LOCAL SIGHTSEEING & TRANSFER TO GUWAHATI
After breakfast enjoy Shillong local sightseeing – visit the three-tiered Elephant Falls; the Don Bosco Museum of
Indigenous Cultures and Skywalk (closed on Sunday); Ward’s Lake (closed on Sunday); National Orchidarium
and Botanical Garden (closed on Sunday); Lady Hydari Park (closed on Sunday).
Afternoon transfer to Guwahati (130Kms / 3hrs), situated on the South Bank of river Brahmaputra this is the
largest city of Assam, a major riverine port city and one of the fastest growing cities in India. Many ancient Hindu
temples are in the city, giving it the name "City of Temples" the most important being Kamakhya Temple. Evening
at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
GUWAHATI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING (08 HRS / 80KMS)
Morning starts the Full day sightseeing in and around this capital city of Assam , covering Kamakhya Temple -
Situated on top of the Nilachal Hill, Maa Kamakhya Temple is the most sacred among the tantrik shrines of Shakti
worship in the world; Balaji Temple, State Museum (closed on Monday), Navagraha Temple – dedicated to the
nine planets located on the top of Chitrasal Hill, Umananda Temple on Bhasmachal - a Shiva temple located at
the Peacock Island - smallest inhabited riverine island in the world , Sankardeva Kalakshetra - is a cultural
institution in the Panjabari area, named after the medieval poet-playwright and reformer Srimanta Sankardev.
Evening experience the Sunset River cruise Jahajghat/ Mackhowa to Jahajghat/ Mackhowa river Brahmaputra.
Overnight at Guwahati
GUWAHATI – KOLKATA.
This morning after late breakfast transfer to Guwahati Airport to return to connect your flight to Kolkata. (Connecting Internation Departure Flight from NSCB Airport)
